NTES has been selected to receive a 2015-2016 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant in the amount of $4,820 from the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation (LCEF).

Wendy wrote this grant to give the library a face lift.  Mr. Voth stated we are trying to create a more comfortable environment that children and adults will want to spend time in reading a good book.  We are very proud of Wendy and are excited about this opportunity.

According to Wendy, t
he mission of our project is to create an environment that will encourage teachers, students, parents and the greater community to collaborate, communicate and share.  We envision a library that embraces its rural surroundings and heritage (PAST), meets the needs of our teachers and students (PRESENT), and evolves into a welcoming space that encourages exploration, creation and collaboration for years to come (FUTURE).
